Lakeside School Counseling Vision:

Welcome to the Lakeside School Counseling site! The goal of the guidance department is to deliver a comprehensive school counseling program to all Lakeside middle school students and aid in their academic, career, and social/ emotional development. Students will grow and develop coping skills and recognize the connection between school and work throughout their time at Lakeside.

Cardinal Mission Statement:

The school counseling department effectively collaborates with students, parents, teachers, support staff, and community organizations to deliver an integrated school counseling program. The school counselors work diligently to facilitate each student’s personal and academic achievement, by providing a proactive support system, inclusive of the unique needs of all students. The Lakeside School Counseling Department abides by the professional code of ethics for school counselors, as outlined by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
